Primary Care Providers (PCPs) are often the first line of defense when it comes to a patient’s health. PCP’s have a vast knowledge of healthcare and are often able to pinpoint the cause of various symptoms and have the connections patients need to refer out to a specialist should it be required. The cases that Primary Care Physicians can treat are not limited to physical symptoms but mental heath symptoms as well. Set up an appointment with us today to go over any health concerns you are having, but don’t forget about having your yearly physical so you can identify potential problems early on. Prevention and early detection is the key to a healthy body and mind.
What is a Physician Assistant (PA)?
Physician Assistants are medical professionals who diagnose illness, develop and manage treatment plans, prescribe medications, and often serve as a patient’s principal healthcare provider. With thousands of hours of medical training, PAs are versatile and collaborative. PAs practice in every state and in every medical setting and specialty, improving healthcare access and quality. PAs are highly educated with a master’s degree level. All of our PAs are Board Certified. PA programs in the US are highly competitive, requiring a bachelor’s degree and completion of courses in all the science prerequisites. After completing a Bachelor's Degree, a PA program is approximately three academic years, and include classroom instruction and more than 2,000 hours of clinical rotations.
